The Itinerary
We pick you up from Delhi or Chandigarh and begin the scenic drive into the mountains. Watch the landscape transition from plains to the lush pine forests of Himachal. Overnight stay in Shimla or Narkanda.
Drive along the formidable Satluj River into the beautiful Kinnaur Valley. Visit Chitkul, the last inhabited village on the Indo-Tibet border, before settling into your stay amidst apple orchards.
Today we enter Spiti Valley. Marvel at the shifting terrain as it becomes barren and majestic. Stop at the 1,000-year-old Tabo Monastery and view the naturally preserved Gue Mummy before arriving in Kaza.
Spend the day exploring Spiti's iconic high-altitude villages. Visit the magnificent Key Monastery, post a letter from the world's highest post office in Hikkim, and explore Komic and Langza, guarded by the massive Buddha statue.
Cross the mighty Kunzum Pass to reach the crown jewel of Spiti — Chandratal (The Moon Lake). Spend the evening soaking in the pristine turquoise waters and camp under a brilliant canopy of stars.
Wake up to a cold, crisp morning at the lake. We drive back towards civilization, crossing the engineering marvel of the Atal Tunnel into Manali, and finally dropping you off at Chandigarh or Delhi with a lifetime of memories.
